Connecting with your Inner Peace and Wisdom

 (registration needed)

Recall a moment in your life when you felt complete, satisfied, fully alive, at home in yourself.

Imagine that it is possible for you to feel that way not only now and then but most of the time. In this workshop you will learn simple practices that will help you:

  • Overcome difficult life challenges
  • Clear negative emotions and cultivate positive qualities
  • Revitalize your personal and professional relationships
  • Feel more engaged and productive at work
  • Experience healing on all levels: physical, emotional, energetic
  • Bring happiness and well-being to others

We will share simple days drawn from the Tibetan tradition to use your breath and sound to connect to your inner refuge, a spacious luminous presence always present within our hearts.

About the Workshop

This is the second workshop that John Jackson teaches in Portugal. The first one took place in the Algarve on June last year and focused on the Tsa Lung tibetan yoga techniques.

This time we have chosen Lisbon, since it will be more accessible for a wider audience. The workshop will be focused more on the meditation itself and how to reach that inner sacred space where the true healing occurs. The teaching is always introduced in a way that we are invited to work with our actual difficulties, in very practical and direct terms.

During the breaks for coffee and lunch there will be the opportunity to talk with John informaly. If anyone wants to have a more private chat with John, there will be a short period for that after the last session of the day. Please tell the organizers in advance.

What people are saying ?

It was with John Jackson that I had my first contact with the Tsa Lung practices of the Bön tradition! His teachings were simple but very profound on a personal level! It was a magnificent experience to attend those teachings and to feel how John passed this millennial knowledge with thoughtfulness and a lot of inner dedication! John helped me create one of the most powerful daily practices I have ever had access to! I will be eternally grateful!
- Nuno Rosa, Portugal
I thoroughly enjoyed John Jackson's workshop. It helped me to integrate gentle movement into my meditation practice. John's simple and precise instructions guided me through healing my body, mind and heart. His insights into ancient meditation practices has informed my training as an MBSR teacher.
- Máire O'Higgins, Dublin, Ireland

For whom ?

Anyone can attend the workshop. No special background is required.
Beginners: Beginners are most welcome, and will probably be surprised how simple practices can have very good and almost immediate effects.
More advanced practicioners: for example, people with experience of Yoga of the Hindu tradition who practice physical techniques, such as those of Hatha Yoga, will find in this workshop practical elements of an approach to Mental Yoga, sometimes called Raja Yoga.
Those who know the Tibetan traditions will easily find in this workshop an introduction that opens the way to the deeper techniques of Dzogchen.
